EXCURSIONS AND ACTIVITIES IN AND AROUND EMPURIABRAVA
In our cultural pages we have offered you different itineraries and visits and suggestions in our sports pages, therfore we will not insist in repearting the same thing all over again. But what we would like to do is suggest a little relaxing sightseeing.
Here are some of our suggestions:
EXCURSIONS BY BOAT
From
Empuriabrava you can rent sailing and motor boats with or without licence or
with or without pilot. You can also join an organized party which will take you
to a small cove to enjoy a picnic or grilled sardines. Our suggestion is double.
Rent a boat to see for your selves the beauty of the canals in Empuriabrava and
then hire a sailing boat with a navigator who will take you to the most
secluded coves so you can enjoy a wonderful day at sea.
EXCURSIONS BY BICYCLE
We have talked a little about bicycles on our
sports page but we would like to remind you thtat ther is a circuit of nearly 30
Km throught the wetlands of Emporda, Empuriabrava and Castelló d'Empúries. A
visit full of picturesque nature of extraordinary beauty especially on cool days.
Ideal in Spring and Autumn.
AQUATIC PARK (5 Km.)
Another way to spend your day. AQUA-BRAVA in Roses offer you an aquatic park for adults and children where the only worry is not to get too many wrinkles...
THE LAKE AT BANYOLES (50 Km.)
The
Banyoles Lake has been for many years the essential visit for the visitors of
Empuriabrava. Beacause it so near, because it offers you the chance of swimming
and for its beautiful landscape. One could combine Banyoles with the visits of
Beaslu and Serinya, or otherwise, with Girona...
BOADELLA AND SURROUNDINGS (40 Km.)
The resevoir at Boadella is fort he ones who like to combine sea and mountain. Ther are pretty walks by the resevoir and good meals in restaurants in Darnius, Boadella or Maçanat places you will love to visit.
BARCELONA AND MONTSERRAT (150/180 Km.)
A
visit to the post-olimpic Barcelona

National, Barcelona FC, etc; or simply for walking around shopping or going up
to the Torre de Collserola, Tibidabo or Montjuic) always worth the while; and if
you go on an organized trip we recommend a visit to Montserrat.

An amazing city for its architecture, landscape and above all for it fortified citadel, full of shops, exhibitions and restaurants.

it happen.

Bad news first. The road to Andorra can be a nightmare, but it is worth the trip.
